Yessiree, I have exams next week so after that I shall be able to draw a little again. Slghtly freaking out yet all pumped up at the same time. Freaking out over Geography because I have been studying my ass off in that subject and only got 26% of the questions right of a 30 question wuiz a few days ago. Why do I even bother.

Been seeing a maths tutor, only had two lessons so far but I understand a lot more. One on one is easier because the teacher can just focus on one kid and I don't have to worry about looking like an idiot when I ask for help.

I also went to an art show tonight. My school art teacher had asked me for something to put into the High School Display section earlier in the week, and I had given her one of my planning and colour testing sketches for the current task (although not the final design, as I required it to continue my painting in classes.)
It was framed and put in section with works from other students.
Was pleasently surprised to win first-place in the High School Display, receive a comment and congratulation certificate and a little spending money. Got a lot of compliments, still can't get over the fact that it was a god-damn scrapbook page that one first prize. Was compared to Da Vinci, of all people. Feet now killing from standing around talking to people in heels.

Off to bed now, and will be going to the town festival for a few hours tommorrow to opefully calm my nerves about exams. Monday is a public holiday, so I get that day off to study. My brother sick, hope he doesn't give me what he has, don't particularly want to be vomiting all over my exam papers.
